Sensory Play

  • Definition: Play items, tools designed for independent, “deep focus” play that allows a child to calm their mind and work solo.
  • Goal: To build the child’s stamina for independent problem-solving and emotional self-regulation.

  • Definition: Creative play that satisfies the urge to build, draw, and color—without the stains or long cleanup.
  • Goal: To provide the child with the freedom to create and experiment without interruption or fear of “making a mess.”
